The book that made me read

I still remember the day I started to read novels .when little, I had not read anything apart from school . comes as a shocker to me too. You could ask me then how I got my hand on reading and to even start a book blog (https://percyreads.wordpress.com/) . for this I got to bow down and thank my 8th grade classmate.one day She brought a book to school .the cover was all flashy and to be honest it was calling to me . so I asked her if I could borrow and that’s how it all started . since then I never stopped reading .The reason I loved to continue goes to the same book I borrowed – “Percy Jackson and heroes of Olympus“ by Rick Riordan . Full of fantasy action greek mythology . One word “WOW” . It starts off with a bang . Right into the story line unlike many which give a detailed descripton of the characters . To be honest those are the books that puts me to sleep . The action forced me to turn pages . Percy Jackson is hilarious and love his narration throughout the book. At the end of Lightning thief I felt elated and had that driving urge to read the next part and the next and the next !!! And finally the finishing book of the series –The Last Olympian – Rick Riordan surely knows how to write a climax ! Of all the series I have read till date I would definitely say it still tops my list of well finished books . Though its meant for middle grade my personal opinion it is meant for ALL.I even made my elder brother to read!
In a nutshell
10-writing
10- characters
10-plot
10-monsters
So if you haven’t read the percy Jackson series yet a kind request – do read it ! definitely you will thank me later for recommending !!
